Our Mission
We digitize the dental prescription workflow between dental organizations and their laboratories, so every case moves from the provider's signature to the lab on one secure record instead of paper forms, phone calls, and fax.
What Vagus Does
Provider-signed digital Rx
The provider signs the Rx in the app, and the case routes to your contracted lab.
Scans with the case
STL, PLY, or OBJ scans attach to the case, with a 3D preview for the lab.
Shipping and custody
Labels, tracking, and a chain-of-custody entry at every hand-off.
Contract pricing and billing
Cases are priced from your CDT fee schedules at submission, and lab invoices are checked against the contract.
Built for HIPAA
PHI fields are encrypted with AWS KMS, every PHI access is written to the audit log, and a BAA is available to every customer.
Vagus is a verified pilot build. Production case intake opens once our remaining business associate agreement is signed. SOC 2 and HITRUST readiness is in progress; Vagus holds neither certification.
Founder's Note
Vagus was founded by Bryan Brunton, who runs a dental practice management company. Working with dental organizations, he saw how much of the prescription workflow between them and their labs still depends on paper and the phone, and that is what inspired him to bring Vagus to market.
We're building Vagus so that every prescription reaches the lab signed, structured, and traceable.
